Yeah, no more little kids jumping and screaming around you. peace... but it's going to be boring again... but that's what homework is for right? For taking up time during your holidays. haha. oh wells shall rant about VBS a bit.
let's see, decorating the room was fun. I drew three arctic terns or caspian terns cause that was the name of our class. there was also names like walrus, seal, arctic fox, lemming and etc.etc. and my class was K2 by the way -_-;. Really really didn't know why I was assigned to that class... Me and little Kids don't mix together... COME ON I have been nicknamed 'killer'...yeah, but I didn't really have a choice did I? So went along with it with Hubert, Aunty Sarah, and aunty Lim Na. The decorating part was fun. We made this lodge house and some... pine trees. We were provided with cut out snowflakes so we sprayed some blue onto it and it looked alot nicer. Then we had some snow spray, sprayed some on the windows and on the lodge house and pine trees. then aunty sarah had this mosquito net which we hung like a fish net outside and stuck fishes and my birds onto it. and then sprayed some blue onto this styrofoam board like waves and was placed under the net.
then it was done... and I noticed that I'm really really skilled with the penknife in cutting the cardboard...
ok so on the first day I pretty much just hung around talking to random people in the morning. Was helping with the em... job of giving out tags and collecting the forms. I totally missed the morning worship but got back just in time to go with my class. then... I really can't remember what happened...
umm, then... oh forget it shall just rant about whatever that come to mind. K2 is really really tiring, I mean. They seem to think they know everything and if they like you they want to tell you alot of thing and you'll have to listen or they'll just keep on bugging you so you have to be like so patient and tolertant of them. Yeah, there was this girl. She liked me so she kept on sticking to me and wanting to hold my hand and lean on me if I sit next to her or she would start playing with my hair and I really don't like people to touch my hair <_<>_> they started teasing the other and the other one would laugh. So we could finally go back to class and eat lunch... Rachel's mum was there, so I had to tell her what happened -_- sigh.
umm, the outing, at west coast park, was fun. at first I and a few others were taken aside so that each on of us would take care of a nursery kid. I got a girl name rachel. So took her round the obstacle course in the small playground beside the pyramid I think. She was kind of afraid so we only did half of the first part then came the plant thing, she was also scared so I took her hands and then led her. Later the teacher of the nursery came and helped me and told me I did well... But Kung Mun told me that aunty sarah needed me so I handed rachel over to her teacher and ran over. My class was at the flying fox station. None of them seemed to dare to climb up the rope things before the flying fox so I humg my bag on the post and climbed up then I slowly lead and encouraged them all to go. They did well I think.
My class was divided into two groups and before we went it was decided that i would be in charge of the first group so when my whole group was done, I and emily (not sure what to call her but she was supposed to lead us from one station to the next.) went to the next station where they had to find puzzles with a brown dot on each of them. they did it quite quickly so we could move on. Then we went to the next station where then had to find the letters to spell out something. Emily told me the answer :VBS 2006 but we let them have the fun of running around. That done, went to the last one which was in the pyramid. About the same thing as the last one and since we couldn't find the game master we just let them go along. The word this time was 'believe'. they were supposed to find the letter and tell emily but since there was three Es and we weren't sure whether they found them all or not I told emily to just give it to them. so gathered them to unscrable the word while I had to go and gather some strays... Then we were done, I think we were the first group to complete it but no prizes lol.
That was I think the first day I shouted. I really works ok? They're oh so very noisy in the classroom, won't listen to anyone telling them to keep quiet so I simply shout: "ARCTIC TERN" and there's silence. yup, works every time. the door slamming trick works too. ^^ But I now have a sore throat from shouting too much...
And on the last day, same as the last few days but there was a lot of rehersals and stuff for the concert that night. But I left at 4:30 to go for riding!!! haha, it was such a relief. And i got sonny^^. that lesson has got to be my BEST jumping lesson ever. Sonny was in a really good mood yesterday. haha and we had to jump twice in a roll like two jumps right in fron of each other. At first I stared lol, wasn't sure as to what to do. told sue and she said that's why we were doing it. then I jumped it, was really shaky at first then I got better ^^ sue said my balance is now much better^^. so yay!
then had to go back to church, I burst into the room and carrie immediately demanded where I had gone and rachel hugger me 0.0 reese asked me where I had gone too. haha but they didn't have any dinner for me so I went downstairs to the buffet for the parents. They had alot of left overs so I ate some. Then went back up just in time to see my class perform. wasn't able to take any pictures so I just squated down and did the actions. The concert done, we sent them back to class where they got picked up by their parents.
Then we had to take off the decorations. The room looked really bare after that. Aunty sarah wanted my birds but I promised mich that I would scan them and sent it to her. so i brought them home and I'm going to give them to aunty sarah on sunday. their here with me now. two of them are too big for my scanner, so I can only scan in part of them. Maybe I'll post it here later...
yeah, that's the end of VBS. Since I didn't feel like going home just yet, I helped with rearranging the benches in the sanctuary. it was tiring, since they kept on changing this and that, move this forward and that backward. 0.o but it was done. then went down for umm, supper. and hung around some more with leanne before my dad came to take me home.
